This article discusses the modernization and diversification of the textile and garment and knitwear industry in Uzbekistan, the expansion of the volume and types of finished competitive products that are in high demand in foreign markets, the development of light industry, the scope of opportunities for the production of competitive products for the world market, and the specific features of development.
