Abstract

English for Specific Purposes (ESP) has become a vital component of language education, particularly in professional and academic domains where learners require tailored language skills to meet specific needs. Unlike General English, ESP focuses on equipping learners with language proficiency for specialized contexts, such as law, medicine, business, or engineering. However, teaching ESP often comes with challenges, including maintaining student engagement, addressing diverse proficiency levels, and ensuring practical application of the learned material. To overcome these challenges, innovative approaches like gamification have emerged as promising tools for enhancing ESP instruction.
