Abstract

Tourism, one of the world's most significant sectors, has political consequences that have seldom been addressed in its literature, as well as its social, cultural, and environmental implications. Its significance in the national economy and the regional economy shapes this. Given the great relevance of tourism in all sectors, it should be seen as an autonomous science with its own norms, principles, and theories, as this discipline has direct and indirect ties with other fields. Directly connected to various disciplines like economics, sociology, psychology, history, archaeology, and the environment. Several signs point to Iraq being a major tourism destination. A leader in the Middle East and the globe because of the variety and originality of its tourism attractions. Thus, it is essential to guarantee that professional staff are equipped with particular tourist knowledge, preparing them to serve and grow this industry. Using feasible ways to educate tourism in vocational schools, scientific strategies and programs to build an advanced tourist sector should be followed. This will help inform students about tourism's value and advantages. This survey study was conducted for students enrolled in vocational and commercial schools and the professors who teach the subject. It honed them in line with tourism's relevance and great importance, allowing us to assess the curriculum and shape it forward. Incorporating measurement and assessment in the teaching process, curriculum analysis, evaluation, criticism, and so on, all help shape and develop the curriculum.
