Sound Repetitions and their Functions in Literary Text

The article discusses the use of sound repetition in literary texts. The connection between the sound of a word and its meaning is defined as an actual element of the linguistic analysis of a literary text. The main manifestations of sound repetitions are highlighted, their functions in the discourse of a work of art are described.
