Differences Between English and Uzbek Anthroponyms and the Cultural-Historical Factors Important in Their Formation

This article provides a comparative analysis of the systems of English and Uzbek anthroponyms.
The formation of personal names, their semantic features, and the influence of historical and cultural factors
are examined. The relationship between anthroponyms and national values, religious beliefs, and social
relations is revealed. In addition, changes occurring in anthroponymic systems in the modern era are
analyzed.
