This paper explores the dynamics of the informal economy in Central Asia, with a focus on youth employment. It aims to identify the causes, consequences, and policy implications of informal employment in the region. Central Asian economies face significant challenges related to the informal labor market, where a large proportion of the youth population is employed. This research delves into the characteristics of informal employment, its socio-economic effects, and proposes solutions to address the growing concerns about youth unemployment, economic informality, and poverty reduction in the region.
