Abstract

This article considers the importance of modern VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) technology in the military sphere, its application possibilities and prospects. In particular, the role of VSAT in the organization of secure military communication systems, real-time information exchange and communication between the Ministry of Defense and military districts and combat units is analyzed. The advantages of the technology, existing limitations and ways to overcome them are also considered.
