The History of Abu Ubayda Ibn Al-Jarrah
Abstract
Abu Ubaydah ibn Jarrah (583 – 639) was a companion, one of the first Meccan Muslims to convert to Islam. His name was Amir, he was from the Banu Fikhr clan of the Quraysh tribe. Abu Ubayda ibn al-Jarrah migrated to Abyssinia and then to Medina. He participated in all gazats with Muhammad (pbuh).
