Abstract

This paper provides a comprehensive assessment of the inflow of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into Uzbekistan using a strategic framework grounded in PESTLE analysis. Given the crucial role of FDI in accelerating economic growth, technology transfer, and enhancing global competitiveness, understanding the macro-environmental factors influencing investment attraction is essential. The study systematically examines Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and Environmental factors shaping the FDI landscape in Uzbekistan. Drawing on recent empirical studies and statistical data, the research identifies key drivers and barriers to FDI inflow and offers strategic recommendations to enhance Uzbekistan’s investment climate. This approach facilitates a holistic understanding of external and internal dynamics, contributing to evidence-based policymaking for sustainable economic development.
