Abstract

This study examines the impact of societal transformation on the professional training of future teachers. Societal transformations driven by technological advancements, economic shifts, and globalization necessitate a re-evaluation of teacher preparation to equip educators with the skills and competencies required in a rapidly changing world. The research explores the evolving demands on teachers, emphasizing the importance of adaptability, digital literacy, and innovative pedagogical approaches. Key competencies identified include innovative thinking, social adaptability, proficiency in information technology, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement. Drawing upon the insights of prominent educators like Linda Darling-Hammond and Suzanne Wilson, the study highlights the need for a systematic approach to enhancing teacher training, focusing on the integration of technology, the development of innovative teaching methods, the improvement of socio-economic conditions for teachers, and the revision of educational programs to include expanded practical training. The findings underscore the critical role of professional development in ensuring that teachers are prepared to meet the challenges of an information-driven society and contribute to the positive transformation of education and society as a whole. The study concludes that the continuous professional growth of future teachers is essential for adapting to societal changes, improving educational quality, and fostering the development of students’ knowledge, skills, and creative abilities.
