Abstract

This study investigates the extent to which e – leadership tools are utilized in secondary schools in Ndop central subdivision. This study focuses on e – communication tools and online project management tools. By examining these tools in relation to demographic factors such as age, and educational qualifications, the research seeks to understand their influence on secondary school management. A descriptive correlational design was used, utilizing structured questionnaires to collect data from a representative sample of 120 teachers and 21 administrators. Data analysis included descriptive and inferential statistical methods, such as linear regression analysis. From the analysis findings reveal that e – leadership tools significantly influence secondary school management in Ndop central subdivision positively as the p – values of the two indicators are less than 0.05 (p<0.05). The overall mean for the indicators are 3.22 and 3.17, respectively. This indicates that the most prominent indicator was e – communication tool. Age distribution data indicates a younger teaching workforce and more experienced administrators, underscoring the need for targeted professional development and leadership training. This research contributes to the field by providing empirical evidence and theoretical insights into the critical role of e-leadership tools in secondary education. The study recommends ongoing professional development, investment in technology infrastructure, and mentorship programs to enhance school management practices and educational outcomes. The study fills a significant gap in the literature on e-leadership tools in secondary schools and lays a foundation for future research on the practical implications of these tools in educational settings.
