In recent years, the rise of technology has led to an increase in the use of digital platforms in educational institutions. However, this development also brings with it the threat of cyberattacks and security breaches. Through rigorous training, administrators and teachers in Nigerian schools can become better equipped to tackle these threats and ensure a sustainable school system. This paper explores the benefits of implementing cybersecurity awareness training in Nigerian schools and its potential impact on the overall security and success of the education system. By examining current security measures and potential challenges, this study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the importance of cybersecurity training in Nigerian schools and its role in creating a safe and sustainable learning environment for all stakeholders involved.
