Impact of International Organizations on Education Development in Nigeria

The paper discussed the impact of international organizations on education development in Nigeria. The paper used secondary data. The secondary data were collected from both print and online publications. Content analysis was used to analyze the selection of literature for the study. The paper concluded that international organizations in Nigeria have contributed to education development in the following area; funding, provision of facilities, capacity building and instructional materials. Based on this findings, the paper suggest the following measures; the government should establish a special commission to support management of these institutions operating in Nigeria. The federal and state government should provide conducive environment for this international organizations to operate and support the educational institutions.
