Using Artificial Intelligence Interactive Tools (Chatbots) to Develop Oral Communication Skills of EFL Learners
Keywords:
Oral communication skills, EFL learners Artificial Intelligence interactive Tools (chatbots)Abstract
The recent research aimed to explore the effectiveness of using artificial intelligence interactive tools (chatbots) to develop oral communication skills of EFL learners. To achieve this aim, the research follow a quasi experimental design of one study group and a pre and post administration of oral communication skills test. The study group includes 40 English majors from the third stage at faculty of education for human sciences, Tkrit university. The participants were instructed through AI chatbots interaction practicing real life stimulated scenario. Results revealed that the AI chatbots based instruction contributed highly in developing oral communication skills.
