Main Approaches to Ensuring Seismic Protection and Seismic Isolation of Architectural Monuments

The development of the concept of geotechnical seismic isolation as a design alternative to traditional seismic isolation systems is examined, focusing on its reliability in ensuring the seismic resistance of architectural monuments. Geotechnical seismic isolation is systematized and scientifically and technically substantiated as a new research direction that contributes to enhancing the seismic resistance of architectural monuments.
