One important aspect of lexicography is how well dictionaries convey meronymic notions to their audience. Based on all of these concerns, this article discusses the concept of meronymy and its lexicographic expressions in the linguistic world of numerous languages, including Uzbek and English. The study looks at how meronymic ties are reflected in Uzbek and English dictionaries. It recognizes lexical unit structures associated with meronymy, semantic properties, and translation problems. Furthermore, the roles that meronymy plays in global lexicography and the potential for studying it in the context of world languages are considered. Linguists, translators, and experts in lexicography and linguistics are the book's intended audience.
